At I Love Your Face LLC, we’re always looking for ways to level up our skills and bring the best entertainment to our clients. That’s why I recently attended the MAX convention in St. Louis, MO—an incredible gathering of entertainers specializing in balloon art, face painting, and more. It was a fantastic experience filled with learning, networking, and competition. And I’m thrilled to share that I brought home three awards from the competitions! I loved representing Grand Rapids & our beautiful Westside of Michigan.

🎉 3rd place in the Line-work Competition (A sculpture that takes 3-5 min).

🎈 2nd place in the Headband Competition (A sculpture that is on a wearable Headband).

🏆 2nd place in the Small Build Theme Competition (This year's theme was mystic creatures).

These competitions showcased some of the best talent in the industry, and placing in multiple categories was an incredible honor. I walked away with new techniques, fresh inspiration, and a renewed passion for bringing top-tier entertainment to our events.

2025 is off to a great start! We have had the joy of celebrating many birthdays. Dinosaur-themed birthdays, with themes like "Tea-Rex" and "Three-Rex, " are still trending. Circus-themed celebrations are also coming in strong. We love a good theme! It's always fun to see what will trend each year. For first birthdays, some of the themes we've seen are "Wild One," Sweet One," and "First Rodeo." Do you have any guesses for the upcoming year? Maybe "Wicked" or "Taylor Swift" for the tween girl? Will we see "Sonic" and "Sharks" for young boys?

It's an honor to be part of these milestones. We love seeing friends and family come together for these special occasions; community is essential.
